I put my burgeoning dye skills to the test when making this shirt, and while I like the result, I definitely need more practice. It took me a few tries to get it just right. I also put together a matching accessory&#8211; a braided floss necklace on a brass chain (close-up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/childerhouseblog\/6447062533\/in\/set-72157624485084555\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>). The other sister received several expensive-to-ship boxes of hand-me-down pots and pans when she moved into her own apartment, so I told her she&#8217;d only get something small for her present. I whipped this up with materials I already had laying around:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a title=\"dreamcatcher\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/childerhouseblog\/6028127610\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.staticflickr.com\/6210\/6028127610_7a7d97d4de_z.jpg\" alt=\"dreamcatcher\" width=\"400\" height=\"576\" \/><\/a>I used a twig, a few beads, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nativetech.org\/dreamcat\/dreminst.html\" target=\"_blank\">this tutorial<\/a>, back when <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.shopwiksten.com\/2011\/07\/tiny-dreamcatcher.html\" target=\"_blank\">every<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.lenacorwin.com\/post\/1302\" target=\"_blank\">body<\/a> was making dream catchers.
