I got really obsessed with the idea of making a color-block button-down shirt, and also with the idea of repurposing thrifted mens&#8217; shirts to do so. I used <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burdastyle.com\/patterns\/042010-long-sleeve-blouse\" target=\"_blank\">this pattern<\/a> and finished it with french seams. About a week after we got back from Texas, I realized it would&#8217;ve been even more awesome if I&#8217;d put elbow patches on the sleeves. I have a soft spot for elbow patches. Sorry, Bon!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This shirt looks adorable under a cardigan and will be perfect for mild Texas winters. I might have to make myself one!
